Security guard punched by Congressman withdraws case

Security guard, Ricardo Bonayog who was allegedly punched by Lanao del Sur Representative Mohammed Hussein Pangandaman will no longer file a case against the Congressman.

Bonayog failed to show up at the Commission on Human Rights after he decided to withdraw his case against the Lanao del Sur Congressman.

According to Bonayo, he is just an ordinary citizen and that he is nothing compared to a Congressman Pangandaman, thus he withdrew his complaint against the Congressman because he feared for his and his family's life.

Bonayog, however assured that nobody talked to him or threatened him to back out against Congressman Pangadaman.

However, Bonayog asked for a public apology from Congressman Pangandaman.

Meanwhile, CHR Commissioner Norberto dela Cruz said that they cannot do any investigation against the Congressman if there is no complaint and that the CHR cannot do their own investigation just by relying on Bonayog's account
