PAGASA Weather Report on Sept 15 about the LPA at Batanes

Weather update on September 15 shows that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located at 300 km East of Basco, Batanes according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

PAGASA weather forecast said that the Northern and Central Luzon and the western section of Southern Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with scattered to widespread rains over Batanes Group of Islands, Palawan and Mindoro Provinces.

While the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also forecast moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northwest to West will prevail over Extreme Northern Luzon and coming from Southwest over the rest of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough, elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the South to Southwest with slight to moderate seas.
