Review on Apple's MacBook Pro with Retina Display

Last June 11, 2012, Apple introduced a new third generation MacBook Pro, marketed as the "MacBook Pro with Retina display."

The MacBook Pro with Retina display includes the third generation Intel Core i7 processor along with USB 3.0 and a high-resolution 15.4" IPS 2880x1800-pixel Retina display.

All I thought was, WOW...a 2880x1800 resolution, that would be something else indeed, imagine watching HD movies in the new MacBook Pro...imagine doing stunning graphic designs with the Retina display.

Other new or changed features in the MacBook Pro with Retina display (a bit too long to say) includes a second Thunderbolt port, an HDMI port, and a new thinner MagSafe port, dubbed as the "MegaSage 2."

The MacBook Pro with Retina display also omits the use of a SuperDrive for it also has no built-in optical driver. This new model also has a solid state drive standard rather than a hard disk drive.

The new model also has improved speakers that provides high-fidelity sounds and dual adaptive microphones and new high-efficiency fans for the the cooling system.

The only downfall I think is the lack of an ethernet port and firewire 800 ports although Apple offers Thunderbolt adapters for both.
