2011 Teen Choice Awards - Fil-Am Stars Voted as Teen Favorites

The teens made their choice and have voted two Filipino-Americans as their favorites as the 2011 Teen Choice Awards was concluded on Sunday, August 7.

Bruno Mars who's a Filipino and Puerto Rican descent, took home two awards for favorite summer "Breakout Artist" and "Summer Music Star - Male."

While Filipino American heartthrob, Darren Criss, took home the surfboard for the television "Breakout Star" for his role on Glee.

The pound-for-pound king and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao was also nominated for favorite "Male Athlete" but lost to American professional snowboarder and skateboarder, Shaun White.

Meanwhile, the Filipino international singing sensation, Charice Pempengco was also present in the Teen Choice Awards 2011, together with "Teen Wolf" actor Tyler Posey, presented the "Acuvue Inspire Award" to Demi Lovato,

The 2011 Teen Choice Awards was hosted by Kaley Cuoco and was held at the Gibson Amphitheater on Sunday in Los Angeles, and it was also the first time that the ceremonies were aired live.
